Making Every Day a Great Day

Some may quip this is easier said than done, and to a degree you may be right.  While I don’t know what mountains are in your life, I do know who made them.  While I cannot say for certain what you are going through is “no big deal,”  I do know someone who is bigger than any deal that can grip our lives.  And you are right when you say I don’t know how deep your hole is.  But I can say God can deliver you from a hole, a fiery furnace, a lions den and a host of other places we determine to be impossible.  By now, you see where I am going.  God is Lord over every day, and how we live it is by our choice.  You can choose to be happy.  You can choose to be sad.  You can choose to be joyful.  You can choose to be angry.

You can rejoice.  You can complain.  It is up to you.  It is your choice.  Since we get to choose, why not choose by looking past our present situation, and do so in light of what God has done for us.  I promise you, if you do that, you will begin to have a great day everyday.  It all comes down to our attitude.  So when you wake up in the morning, declare that today is going to be a great day in the Lord, and then go out and live it.  By doing this, you SET THE COURSE for how your day will go, instead of waiting to see HOW it will go.  And if today doesn’t go as planned, God gives us another one tomorrow to do it all over again.  Our God is sooo good.  So, remember as someone once said “it’s your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude.”  Blessings.
