Mission Possible 2018 has come and gone. We began with great enthusiasm and ended with incredible fatigue. The middle of those two extremes were filled with lots of hard work and much sacrifice by many, to the praise and glory to the Kingdom of God. We touched many grateful people along this journey (which made our efforts even sweeter). I’m confident many emerged from this mission work with stories they will remember long after this year has passed. One of the constant mysteries of Mission Possible is beginning with knowns (where we are going to work, and what we are going to do) only to experience many unexpected moments that touch us- as only God can. As we seek to invest into our community, God will always fills our hearts with wonderful touching moments that show up when we extend our hearts, and look like Jesus.
Thank you to each and everyone of you for your tired less effort, and your desire to finish your task (regardless how you felt). It is because of dedicated hearts like these that made Mission Possible 2018 a success. Next year we are planning to make MP2019 an even greater success, so make plans to join us August 14-17, 2019 as we continue our march through this city proclaiming that “God is the God of this city.” Blessings. ~Lamar Comments are closed.
